INTERPLANETARY TRAVERLER 

Mild-mannered archaeologist Adam Strange is suddenly teleported to the planet Rann by Zeta-Bean technology. Here, he falls in love with Alanna, daughter of top scientist Sardath, and becames a Super Hero using Rann's amazing technology. The Zeta Beams move Strange between Earth and Rann against his will, meaning that his time with Alanna is always limited. 

HUD (Heads-Up Display) in his helmet keeps Strange informed of potencial threats and atmospheric conditions. 

Although Strange prefers to solve problems peacefully, he is skilled with various weapons.

POWERS 

Adam Strange has no power on Earth. When transported to Rann, however, he can use the advanced technology there to perform all kinds of feats. He wears a space suit with a jet pack and life-support systems for moving through space and carries a laser pistol. Adam can also create hard-light shields and weapons with his Holo-Blaster. 

DUEL WITH DESPERO 

Adam Strange and his friend Hawkman discover that the super-villain Despero is behind the attacks on the planet Rann. Worse still, Despero is building a Zeta-Bean portal that will allow him to teleport his armies anywhere in the universe. While Hawkman uses every ounce of his strength battling Despero, Strange manages to destroy the portal.
